Today, we finally sent of the master of my new folk/acoustic CD to the manufacturer (Oasis CD).  SPINNING is my first folk recording since Wings of Wonder.  It's also my first folk recording produced independently.  It features 13 tracks - eleven of my own and two "covers."  It was recorded right here in my own backyard near Traverse City, Michigan at Holy Wah! Recording Studios and Petting Zoo in Cedar.  SPINNING features many of my cohorts in the local music scene from northern Michigan, including: Don Julin, Crispin Campbell, Janice Keegan, Steve Stargardt, Dawn Campbell, Joddy Croswhite, Jack Dryden, and John Kumjian.  My friend Pat Niemisto lovingly recorded the sessions.

This project was a blast to work on, and I think you'll enjoy it.  Be watching this website for more information.  I expect to have it available for sale sometime in late March 2006.

No joke!  After many requests from various people, Bill finally caved in and built a spot for me on MySpace.com.  Yes, it's full or wacky fun-loving 16 year olds, but it seems to the hip place to connect right now.

Today, only hours before my hometown CD Release Party, my brand new LIVE AT THE DAKOTA jazz CDs showed up on my doorstep.  It's the nature of the business, hurry up and wait.  The CD features Dean Magraw and a host of Twin Cities jazz stalwarts.  It was great fun to do and hopefully as much fun for you to listen to.  Enjoy!
